General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common with tonsillitis. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. If you experience pain or sore throat you can opt for surgical removal of the tonsils. As of now drink sips of water at frequent intervals to keep oral cavity moist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
