Suggest Remedies For Earache With Hearing Problem, Sore Throat And Fever

Hi my name is Emily my boyfriend started complaining of his left ear hurting this morning and it escalated to having a sore throats and then he took a nap and then he woke up saying both of his ears were hurting and he could barely hear. He has a fever and he has put over the counter ear drops in both ears and he has taken Tylenol for the fever what should I do?

sore throat infection might lead to earache due to spreading of infection to ears as there is connection between middle part of ear to throat. and if that connection is blocked then pressure inside ear raises leading to earache. he might require antibiotic like azithromycin or augmentin along with decongestant for infection, under the supervision if an ENT specialist or General physician. fever indicates some infection possibility so di visit a doctor for proper management. get well soon.
