Suggest Remedies For Lack Of Appetite In An Elderly Person

.my daughter is53 yrs old and she is a diabetic .she is down to 88 lbs. She eats a little bit sometimes it will hold but most of the time she throws it up. It s been going on now for several years .I feel so sorry for her. I don t know what willstop it.

Hello. Thanks for your question. It will be better to have a full evaluation to find out what is causing the loss of appetite. There maybe associated co morbid factors as well as other problems like a gastric malignancy. complications of diabetes such as gastroparesis may be present. I will advice that she sees a physician for full evaluation.
