Suggest Remedies For Pain And Swelling In Right Leg Post Ankle Injury
I have rt leg pain and swelling. Recently injured both ankles. Orthopedic boot for four months. On Coumadin for life. Leg is swollen and warm and itchy (thigh). Awoke with calf and leg pain. Could not sleep. History if two prior PEs but husband says I cannot have clot because i am on Coumadin?

Hello.
Even with being on Coumadin you might still have a deep venous thrombosis--a clot in a leg vein--so you need Doppler venous flow studies of the leg. This could also be cellulitis--a skin infection--that would require a course of antibiotics
