Suggest Remedies For Pain, Stiffness And Numbness In The Neck And Shoulders
I have pain down the left side of my neck into my left shoulder....I feel stiff in my neck, when I put my head down and can feel something running up into my scalp....my neck will make a popping sound and sometimes the whole left side of my head feels funny....almost a numbing sensation....I had a massage and somewhere under my shoulder blade was a source of pain....what could be wrong...its been going on for some time now...my primary Dr. wanted to send me to a neurologist, but I wanted to try a chiropractor first...I did and it didn t seem to do any good....any suggestions?
From your history I would suggest that physiotherapy and pain killer medicine would help. I would also like to suggest get MRIcervical spine and Vitamin B12 blood level done to rule out any spinal problem. Else you should visit a neurosurgeon once in person.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Maheshwari
