Suggest Remedies For Pain When Diagnosed With Lung Cancer
Thank you, yes please. My husband has Stage 4 lung cancer and was doing a lot better but now in the past month he has developed a lot of pain. The doctor has prescribed percep (sp). He said he could take two if needed,.He did today take 2 and he woke up saying the whole room was purple and was seeing colors.I got in the shower with him and stayed a while. He s laying down now. I am worried possibly that was too much for his body and if I should take him to the ER and they check him out and make sure he s alright. My email address is YYYY@YYYY Thank you for your help.
I am sorry to know about your husband. There are a lot of options available for pain management, in order to help, it is important to know the exact cause of pain, depending upon which we can use one of the treatment options.
Treatment options include - pain killers of different mechanism of actions (can be used alone or in combination), radiation therapy to the site that is actually responsible for the pain.
Kindly revert with more details, to help you with more precise option.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Jatin Bhatia, Radiation Oncologist
