Suggest Remedies For Painful Bumps On The Back Of Tongue
I'm going on 38 weeks and all of the sudden I have bumps on the back of my tongue like, not the tip but at the very back? It's sensitive, hurts to swallow, I know it's bumps because I thought it was something caught so I felt it and it's little tiny bumps? I haven't burnt my it or ate anything out of the usual?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain small bumps at the very back of tongue along with sensitive tongue that hurts to swallow seems to be probably due to causes like throat infection, eating something hot and spicy, allergies, acid reflux etc.. It seems to be swollen Circumvallete Papillae that is present in a typical "V" shaped pattern at the very back of tongue.. Nothing to worry, start gargling with warm saline solution.. As you are 38 weeks medication has to be taken with precaution therefore you can take Acetaminophen for pain.. Avoid spicy and hot food.. Suck ice pops..
In case of no resolution consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
