Suggest Remedies For Post Traumatic Stress Disorder From Domestic Violence

I have no idea how I got here when searching google. Never knew this existed or if it s real. I guess it doesn t matter because all you will have is my email. So, my issue is psychological. I m researching DID and transference, ptsd from domestic violence, ptsd from incest, all of which I have, although have not all been discussed in therapy because I probably haven t talked about them other than the child sexual abuse. I have bipolar disorder as well. Anyway, that s what I m doing, I see all the doctors showing are medical not physiological or psychiatric so here s my email anyway. Thank you YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

I understand it must be very difficult for you reaching out to people for help. It was very brave of you to seek help.

To fight PTSD, the most important thing is getting yourself involved in things that can keep you busy in a productive manner.

Have two different things - one at your work and other a hobby, both should be mutually exclusive.

Medications can obviously help, but the inner will to fight your PTSD is the strongest medication.

If you feel talking about it will help, then don't hesitate from taking your heart out.

Try to think of what happened as an ugly chain that is pulling you back, but you have to resist and move forward.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jatin Bhatia, Radiation Oncologist
