Suggest Remedies For Radiating Knee Pain, With History Of Osteoarthritis And Fibromyalgia

My wife is having knee pain that radiates down her leg and into the ankle along with a warmth sensation as if she had a heating pad on it. No swelling, redness, but does have pain in the knee, front of leg when walking.Pain also tends to interfere with her sleep at night. These symptoms have been on going for past 7-10 days. She has been diagnosed previously w/Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease & Sciatica. Is this a continuation of ongoing conditions or is this something that should be addressed?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think this is an ongoing condition and is not likely to go away. You should seek medical attention and evaluation be a specialist. Take anti-inflammatory drugs such acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain. Corticosteroids may also be used.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
