Suggest Remedies For Redness On The Face Caused By Sunburn
Hi, I was on vacation in mid March and got bad sunburn on the first day. My forehead and nose were very red and I put aloe Vera on immediately. It peeled and my forehead returned to normal, but my nose is still a little red after months of being home and out of intense sun. Is there something else I should use and how long should I expect for it to return to normal?
As the aloe vera has done pretty well job for fine recovery, residual redness on the nose area can be corrected with: - Local application of calamine lotion 4 times a day - Avoidance of excess sun exposure - Plenty of liquids including fruits with vitamin C content - Anti oxidants and multi vitamins tablet as supportive role
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
