I had Lumbar Facet injections in my L2-3, L3-4, L4-5 last Wendsday the 23rd. On the 24th I started seeing redness on my chest. Now I have redness that looks like a sunburn on both upper arms and my chest and on my right hand. Should I be worried about this?
Skin redness like sunburn seems to be due to allergic reaction to one of the medicinal ingredient. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid sun exposure as much as you can. If you have to go outside cover your skin with cloth.
Tan Care a medicated cream you should use it on daily basis to get immediate relief. You can use tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar dipped in cotton swab and apply two times daily for 10-15 minute that will fasten healing. Keep area clean and dust free.
Your symptoms will start resolving in 1 week. If your symptoms keeps on persisting the you should visit dermatologist once and start treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
