Suggest Remedies For Severe Fever With Joint Pain
I started taking Feburic 40 mg since yesterday. Today I have a fever of 100.4 F. I also have nausea and loss of appetite.I have pain in the joints too. My uric acid is 7.Please advise whether I should discontinue the medicine. Previously I was taking Zyloric 100. I took one tab. a day for the last 4 months but my uric acid levels remained unchanged. Please help me I have DM and HT and am taking medicine for cholesterol too

Hi,
It can be an attack of arthritis.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required including ultrasound and X-ray.
Do a CRP also.
