Suggest Remedies For Small Red Bumps That Turn Into Blisters

I am having outbreaks of small red bumps that turn into blisters. Some have gotten quite large. They itch - if I scratch. I have dogs so it could be fleas but I also do mixed martial arts so it could be sweat related - also these blisters ooze because the skin being so thin slides right off

Hello,

You are having outbreaks of small red bumps that turn into blisters. It is itchy. You have dogs so make sure your dogs are clean and don't have fleas. Get them treated. You can apply ointment hydrocortisone on the area affected to get rid of the itching. Do not scratch, do not touch, do not pop. You can take non sedating anti histamine to reduce symptoms due to allergy.

Take care of your hygiene, take bath regularly. Since you do martial arts, you should take bath and change the clothes. Wear soft cotton clothes, avoid wearing clothes on which you have sweated as they can trigger fungal infection (that grows very fast in warm, wet condition). You should not share your toiletries with anyone. Your symptoms should come under control. Use antibacterial soap for bathing.

Avoid use of perfumed body lotions and beauty products. In case the symptoms are persistent and resistant, you should get clinically examined by a dermatologist. Get STD tests done if sexually active to stay on the safer side. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
