Suggest Remedies For Swelling And Pain In Ankle Post An Injury
Hit on the ankle by a ball while playing softball. Six weeks later there is swelling still. It bothers me when I wear hiking boots. The ball hit on the inside of my left ankle just above the tibia joint. How long till the swelling goes down, stops bother me.

The swelling is probably related to the injury. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen. I also recommend using cold compresses at the area of the swelling.
