Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Ankle Caused By A Fall
My right ankle is painful to walk on, started during the night, no injury. This ankle on the inside was diagnosed with a sports injury last fall. Participated in PT, wore a boot appx 4 weeks. This pain is much worse, came on suddenly, no activity to cause injury. Have appt tomorrow with ortho, just wondering if I need emergency room visit

For now just rest and crutches if you have them would suffice unto you can see the ortho--You may have a stress fracture but that wouldn't require an ER visit
