Sir or Ma'am, I have a blood clot in the right side of my brain. It is located in the posterior right midbrain. Second, there is an area of stenosis or obstruction at the junction of the horizontal and vertical portions of the left anterior cerebral artery. My doctor said imagine an L shaped artery, the corner where the two sides meet is closing. My doctor said when this artery closes the results would be a stroke or heart attack. I'm only in my mid-twenties and my doctor said this coupled with what they found was of great concern to them because of my age. I've been advised to take aspirin and relax until I see the Neurologist. In your experience, what treatment or resolution might I be offered when I see a Neurologist? Best, JL
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern the over all management of your case would be depends upon the underlying etiology and the exact nature of lesion and pathophysiology, clinical sign and symptoms, looking to your age the underlying disease need to be known is very important, here you have given very brief history without chief clinical complaints, take care.
