Suggest Remedy For Bad Cough With Wheezing And Chest Pain

I have a cold been on one round of antibiotics z-pac but still have a bad cough and now some wheezing in my chest and on again off again chest pain.. Had a flu shot and pneumonia shot couple weeks ago.. No fever. Should I start another round of atibiotics z-pac or just wait and see.. Also very flemmy but clear..STuffy runny nose at times. Hoarse voice.

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.
Looking at your symptoms,you are suffering from inflammation in the respiratory tract.
You may find relief by taking following medicines:
Analgesic with Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen,
Antacid like Rantac,
Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,
Oral Decongestant like Pseudoephedrine and Nasal Decongestant like Oxymetazoline(if not suffering from Hypertension),
Bronchodilator like Salbutamol,
Cough expectorant like Ambroxol.
If you suffer from Fever or pus coming in throat,suggestive of a bacterial infection,then start with oral Antibiotics like Azithromycin(as in Z pak).

Avoid cold,spicy ,oily food.Take voice rest,Do steam inhalation.Drink lots of warm fluids.Avoid dust.
