Wheezing Sound Coming Out Of Breathing With Slight Cough
i am 70 years old with good health.but Ihave some typical sound -wheezing-coming out from respiratory system.no cough -but dry cough. ihave no chest pain ,no fever nothing, but this coughing when wheezing sound irritates me . itried with cough syrup,antibiotics etc. presently i am using two times INHALER TREATMENT AS SUGGESTED BY DOCTOR. i HAVE CHEST X-RAY -NO Pneumonia. i don,t know now what to do to remove this coughing while wheezing sound. have me your input. thanks Bhupendra
Thanks for your question in HCM. In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). this will help in diagnosis of bronchitis. Wheezing with dry cough inold age is most commonly seen in bronchitis. You may need bronchodilator in meter dose inhaler with spacer device. Commonly used bronchodilator s are Long Acting Beta 2 Agonist (LABA) like fermoterol and salmeterol, Inhaled CorticoSteroids (ICS) like budesonide and fluticasone and anticholinergics Like tiotropium. So consult pulmonologist and discuss these things.
