Suggest Remedy For Blister On Lips, Mouth Ulcer And Bumps On Tip Of Tongue
Hello! In the last 3 days or so I have gotten a fever blister on my bottom lip, a mouth ulcer, and then today I found 3 bumps on the tip of my tongue. I find it strange that the 3 worst things that could happen in/around my mouth all happened within a day of each other. Could any of these things be related to one another, causing me to get them or is it just ironic that it all happened at once? Also what is the best thing to do to cure all of these things?
The symptoms you mention in query is probably due to aphthous ulcers . There can be many reasons for aphthous ulcers like stress , hormonal changes food allergy like nuts and sea food , lack of essential vitamins like B-12, zinc, folate, and iron and l infections . Usually aphthous ulcers go away in few days without any treatment . I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses , do antiseptic mouth wash rinses like listrine and maintain proper oral hygiene . If ulcers persist then consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis and rule out certain medical conditions like rohn's disease, coeliac disease, HIV infection, and Behçet's disease . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics or antiviral medicines depending upon the diagnosis .
Hope your concern has been resolved. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
