Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have suffered thermal burns on the roof of the mouth leading to burning and there might be sloughing of the mucosa due to it..
It is generally not seen to
blister and choke the throat and if you are able to swallow water then saliva will not get stuck as it is also a watery fluid..
Also if there is severe burning sensation, you can start gargling with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
You can do
cold water rinses and suck ice pops as it will help in reducing inflammation and swelling and ease in swallowing as well as breathing..
You can take anti inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen.
Put few drops of
betadine solution in water and gargle with it to prevent infection..
Avoid spicy and hot foods to prevent further irritation..
In case if still it worsen or does not improve, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
