Suggest Remedy For Blurred Vision And Headache Post Head Injury
My son fell off a swing two days ago hitting the back of his head on a piece of wood boarder. Took him to the ER yesterday, no scan, no meds, just dx of concussion. He is still complaining of blurred vision and headaches. Should we take him back to ER for second opinion?
Your son had a fall from the swing hitting on the back of his head with a piece of wood. Presently he is complaining of blurred vision and headache. You are suggested not to neglect his symptoms, he can get some internal injury that may require prompt medical aid / intervention. Get him clinically examined by an eye specialist, he will go through few eye tests, if some pathology is detected you will be instructed to get the required investigations and imaging tests done. He will be accordingly treated. You can also take him to the ER for a second opinion.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
