I ve got lung clotting in 2012 that lead me to use warfarin for 3 years .2015 my doctor decided to stop it because the reason why they were putting me for long periods was because i was taking the kidney treatment too.so now im caughing very strong since i quit the warfarin i have lots coming in my body pain this side and again before the other .please help me doctor what can be the reason is because no longer taking warfarin ?
The absence of warfarin should not cause the coughing and pain that you are experiencing so another cause should be determined.
Chronic coughing is more commonly due to : (1) post nasal drip-this is most common cause, some persons are not aware of the drip. Treated with a nasal sprays and antihistamines (2) GERD (3)asthma
The pain may be related to other causes. Physical examination of affected areas and possibly blood tests, may be needed
