Suggest Remedy For Candida Bacteria And White Enlarged Bumps On Tongue?
I have been diagnosed with yellow tongue or candida bacteria and am currently taking Chlomatride throat lozenges and I have white enlarged bumps on the back of my tongue. I have been taking the medication for approx. 7 dys/5 lozenges/day. I see very small better affects, I have good oral hygiene and brush 3 times a day with Cepacol mouthwash too. I am not HIV and the last time I had a antibiotic was june 1st 2010. what else can I do to help this go away?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems like you are suffering from Oral thrush or Candidiasis and as you are taking Clotrimzole lozenges it is a right treatment but taking lozenges alone will not help to resolve soon.. Other thing is you are taking anti-microbial mouthwash which should be avoided in thrush.. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of thrush he can advise you to take oral anti-fungal medicines like Fluconazole ro Itraconazole, continue taking lozenges, do nystatin mouthwash gargles and take ample of Probiotics like Yoghurt and garlic.. Drink plenty of water and maintain a good oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
