Suggest Remedy For Chest Discomfort, palpitations And Discomfort

I started taking a beta-bloker (for almost 1year and half) due to some frequent premature atrial contractions. Lately I'm feeling lighteaded, dizziness and tired, any activity like climbing stairs or even some emotional stress are the perfet trigger to some chest disconfort, palpitations and exhaustion. Do I need to go to the doctor? Can this be a side effect of beta-bloker? Can this be just anxiety?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi There\

Yes lightheadedness, dizziness, fatigue these all could be due to low blood pressure which could be caused by the beta blockers.
Yes palpitations can very well be triggered by emotional stress.

Its advisable that you should consult a cardiologist personally and get yourself properly evaluated.

I wish you good health
