Thanks for contacting HCM

I am sorry to hear that you have contacting chicken pox at the age of 16. Chicken pox is a childhood disease that is usually self limiting and has little complications in young children, but in young adults as yourself they can get pneumonia as a complication. From your description I am concerned that you may have pneumonia in addition to your chicken pox. I recommend that you seek medical attention.
