Suggest Remedy For Chronic Abdominal Pain And Vomiting

My two yearold has had an upset stomach, passing gas and stomach pain, for three days. 12am she vomited and again at 2a.m. She was burping and complaining about her stomach until about 5 a.m. She finaly went to sleep she woke up about 10 a.m took a drink of water and imediatly vomited the water out. I m not sure if I should take her to the urgent care. I m worried she may get dehydrated if she can t even keep down water. What should I do?

Hi,
From the symptoms,it seems that she might be having a G.I tract infection.

As she has been vomiting, you can give her an anti-emetic like domperidone,ORS and plenty of oral fluid to prevent dehydration.

If she is refusing to take oral fluid, then its a warning sign and you must take her to the pediatrician as soon as possible.

You can also give her anti-spasmodics and antibiotics like metronidazole for controlling the stomach pain and the g.i infection.

I would also like to suggest you some tests like
complete blood count,
urine for r/e and c/s,
widal test,
stool for r/e and c/s.

Hope it ll help you,
take care
