Suggest Remedy For Chronic Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy

I m 6 weeks pregnant now and having brown discharge on and off. I started to have this brown discharge when I was 5 weeks, and the doctor injected me an IM Proluton to support the pregnancy. Aside from this, since when I m 5 weeks, my OB asked me to take Duphaston one in the morning and one at night. She also told me after the injection if there will be a lot of brown discharge again I should take 2duphaston in the morning and at night. Currently I m taking 1 Duphaston twice daily, but now im having brown discharge again, I took another duphaston in the afternoon (1 at 7am and 1 at 12pm). Is it safe to take whenever you have brown discharge? Is brown discharge safe? Also, will be travelling by plane to Bali (2.5hrs flyt) for our company outing. Is it safe to travel by air, now I m at 6 weeks. Regards, RV

Hi,

These injections must be given under health care guidance. Yes, it can be taken up to a week and then follow up with your gynecologist. In your case, I will recommend USG and HCG levels to be done and a follow up post that. Take iron, folic acid, and B12 according to protocol described to you. Eat healthy and sleep for 8-9 hours everyday.
