Hello, I have chronic daily headaches which are left side only, generally in the region above my ear. The pain is often acute as if I was hit recently by a hard ball or blow to the side of the head. The pain can appear to pulse or be "clamping". My vision is not affected in any way. I have had eye tests, dental checks and sinus checks which give no reason for any such problem. I have had head MRI and CT scans which show no structural or other cause. One interesting observation I have is that during regular intensive cycling or perhaps hill walking, I am free from these headaches. The may reoccur, however, shortly after I have finished cycling. Any thoughts that may be useful would be much appreciated.
Thanks and regards, Paul
