Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last night I think I had a cold so I had the chills and a headache. I also had a big stomach ache and could literally feel the food in my stomach so i threw up on purpose. Today I have a massive headache and feel terribly weak. My eyes feel very heavy and I m really dizzy. What should I do?
I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.
Your symptoms are caused by a common cold that is due to a seasonal virus. This virus has affected your digestive system by causing gastritis.
In these cases I recommend the following guidelines: 1. Drink a lot of fluids, such as hot tea. 2. Take a lot of vitamins, by eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. 3. If you have chills and fever again, you can take Acetominophen. 4. Bed rest is also necessary.
If the condition you are experiencing lasts for more than 3 days, you must consult your GP.
All the best. Dr. Behar.
