Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I suffered from severe Chloestatis during my pregnancy; I had my daughter 9 months ago. I recently went to my doctor to see why I was feeling so run down and getting sick all the time. My liver tests came back extremely elevated; my doctor had me go through more blood tests and an ultrasound. They ruled out hepatitis, but I have an enlarged spleen. I'm waiting to see a specialist at the end of the month, the only issue I really have right now is always feeling nauseous, is that normal or should I be overly concerned?
Thank you for asking! If you are getting increased liver functions again and again and cholecystitis and hepatobiliary functions are already at stake so why not to opt for a simple cholecystectomy.Hepatitis has been ruled out, enlarged spleen needs work up as there are many likely possibilities for that. Need some work up to comment on it any further.Get to a hepatobiliary surgeon and get it over with sooner the better. Take care
