Suggest Remedy For Constant Pressure In Both Eyes While Having Ocular Albinism
I am a 35 year old male who has ocular albinism and in the past months I have had pressure pain in both eyes. It started with my right eye having almost as if sleepy in the corner of my eye that wouldn t go away. It has gone away and now both eyes have constant pressure. It is almost as if I want to have my eyes closed to be comfortable all the time. I have recently received prescription glasses in the past 2 years mostly for the tint on the lenses so I can wear script glasses indoors rather than looking crazy wearing sunglasses
Constant pressure in both eyes may or may not be related to ocular albinism. A few probable causes of pressure in eyes may be migraines and other headaches, sinus infection, Graves’ disease, optic neuritis, toothache, injury to the face, glaucoma, or corneal ulceration. Please do consult an ophthalmologist for detailed eye examination and any tests if necessary. Appropriate treatment always depends upon the cause of the condition.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
