Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...is there a predisposition for one with occular albinism to develop glaucoma, and can optic nerve damage pre-exist the diagnosis of glaucoma and be atributed to occular albinism?

albinism is not related to optic nerve damage. glaucoma can damage the optic cup and nerve.with treatment the damage can be minimizedallnerve damage can be attributed to glaucoma. albinism has no role to play.
