Suggest Remedy For Cramps In Lower Abdomen

Hi,
Three nights ago I started feeling a severe pain just below my tummy. I noticed that now a days whenever I get up from my desk or from sitting in the car I have this pain. Its a cramping pain and even when I cough I have to hold the area. Since this morning I have been having cramps running down my legs. Could this me a result of constipation, if so what could I take as a quick relief or could it be something more complicated than that?

Thanks,

Sophia

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
This is definitely complicated as per the history you have provided.
Cramps below the tummy going down to the legs can be due to various reasons as follows:
Spinal cord problems like compression or so giving the neurological pain.
Severe inflammatory lesion in the pelvis also can cause such a problem.
Since you have not mentioned any symptoms related to the urinary or gastrointestinal tract, it would be difficult to give you the exact diagnosis.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get an MRI of the spine and pelvis done.
CT scan of the whole abdomen particularly the pelvis can help you further.
Once a proper diagnosis has been done get proper management done.
