Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your concerns regarding your symptoms. You seem to be having a depressive episode and resultant anxiety which is responsible for your symptoms of difficulty breathing occasionally. The fact that you are having relationship issues with your husband definitely is playing its part.

You should seek a psychiatric consultation to initiate treatment. Antidepressants like escitalopram would be helpful. In addition you should also consider couple's therapy for interpersonal problems with your husband. It will help you improve your relationship with him which in turn will help with your depressive symptoms.

Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
