Suggest Remedy For Dry Red Patches Under Eyes After Using Listerine
After using Listerine I noticed dry red patches under both eyes and around both nostrils and around the bottom corner of my mouth. These extremely dry patches lasts 2 to 3 weeks using creams and vaseline constantly to heal. Do you know of anyone else having such an allergic reaction?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain it seems that you have got an allergic reaction to Listerine and the symptoms that you have experienced are due to allergic reaction to any of the constituents present in the mouthwash.. You can take anti-allergics like Levocetrizine, apply a steroid ointment over the dry and inflamed patches, do cld compresses and prevent further exposure to the allergen.. Allergic reactions occurs represents in different ways in different individuals and in your case it is probably allergy.. In case if the same symptoms recurs in future with some other things you can get an allergic testing done to rule out the exact cause of allergy and an Immunotherapy can be given by an Allergist to reduce the severity of allergy symptoms..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
