I felt better but last night I started feeling worse. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus. When outpatient medicine management is not effective, I recommend to hospitalize the patient with the care of intravenous fluid to correct the fluid-electrolyte imbalance, supportive GI antibiotics as Ceftriaxone or others to treat the basic cause, PPI as Rabeprazole and other supportive nursing care.

Supportive evaluation with lab tests, ultrasound of the abdomen & are a mandatory part of best management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
