Suggest Remedy For Fever Due To High Monocyte And WBC Count In A Child

Hi there I m concerned about my 3yr old son who is running fever for the last 23 days The doctor s office first ignored it by thinking its a viral infection and it will go away. They did the blood work and his ESr is over 80mm/hr High monocyte count hight WBC count and they are still waiting for the blood/urine cuture tests His fever goes over 42.5 F He is otherwise healthy, not complianing of anything, eating and peeing is normal no runny nose, no breathing issues throws up when the fever is high, but we keep him well hydrated there is is hx of him having fevers that only last for 3-5 days over last 5-6 months I m wondering of its infection/inflammation/ malignancy

Fever for these long days is unusual, antibiotics were not mentioned. It could be typhoid, malaria, etc.. but nonetheless you have to for culture reports. If they are normal then we should think of inflammatory disorders.
