Suggest Remedy For Great Toe Discolouring Due To Peripheral Vascular Disorder
Good evening sir, my father had peripheral vascular disorder, had great toe blackish discoloration since three weeks. my father age is 62years. he had diabetic is normal in range using Glynage MF and Ecosprin 75mg tab since one week. can i get the advice to follow.
Hi, when was your father diagnosed with PVD and how? If he has black discoloration as you say then he has got critical ischemia which is a serious condition. Does he have pain when he sleeps at night and he gets up? Is he able to walk a few hundred meters? DO let us know. He will require a CT Angiography and probably a Angioplasty/ Stenting or Bypass surgery. But its too early for me to tell. Please let me know the answers to the above and get a CT angiography done at the earliest. Continue the medicines as you mentioned. You can also contact me on 'Ask a Specialist' icon directly. He needs urgent treatment so take it seriously. Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
