My father aged around 65 years.
He was having complaint of inflamation in his throat. Initially the general physician supposed that it is due to acidity. He took medicine and Isphagol Husk to control the acidity. But this August he had Voice Hoarseness and he visited an ENT Doctor who advised him DL and Biopsy and before that CT Scan. The scan result shows 2.5 - 2.9 cm growth in Larynx and doctor planned Biopsy. During Biopsy the surgeon have made tracheostomy. The biopsy reports confirming squma cells growth but not confirming the invasion.
My question is what would your expert openion and better advise for further treatment. One pathologist says after viewing the slide to remove the full growth mass from Larynx and then use radiation and then follow-up after 4-6 months by CT Scan.
Your openion is requested.
