Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a couple of ECG's that showed "possible anterior infarct"......now my ECG shows "anterior infarct", abnormal ecg (not mentioning the word "possible this time".....so do I have a problem to be concerned with? 52 year old female, native american and I keep having chest pain directly in my heart, but cardiologist says don't worry it's normal! Of course, I am concerned....
I UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERN AUTOMATED ECG MACHINES USUALLY MISINTERPRET THE ECG REPORT.. AS IT IS NOT EASILY READ BY THE MACHINE
YOUR ECG NEED TO BE INTERPRETED BY THE CARDIOLOGIST AND NOT BY MACHINE.. HE USUALLY MATCHES YOUR REPORT WITH YOUR SYMPTOMS SYMPTOM AND THEN COMES TO A FINAL DIAGNISIS
SO IF YOUR CARDIOLOGIST HAS ASKED NOT TO WORRY YOU CAN RELY ON HIM AND CONTINUE WITH HIS TREATMENT
HOPE I HAVE ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION.. YOU CAN MESSAGE ME FOR ANY FURTHER CONCERNS
