The prognosis after the valve surgery depends upon a number of factors like the exact cause of valve disease, symptoms, pumping of heart and status of other valves. Most of patients do good after valve surgery. Those who have high risk surgeries or have low pumping capacity or are highly symptomatic may not do that well.
