Suggest Remedy For High Levels Of Bilirubin And Ammonia
Hello, my husband has had chonic hep C for 20 years and continues to drink alcohol excessively. He is currently at stage 3 liver disease and he is also diabetic. His labs show high levels of bilirubin and ammonia yet he has does not, an has never appeared jaundice. Why is this?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if there is history of hepatitis c and alcohol consumption then this need to be treated first because enzyme and ammonia can not comes to the normal on it own unless the underlying cause treated, take care and have a nice day.
