Suggest Remedy For Hypopigmentation Around The Mouth Post Laser Treatment
Hi, I had FX C02 Laser on my face 16 months ago. The doctor did 2 passes with the laser around my mouth to get rid of my wrinkles. Well it got rid of the wrinkles and left me with hypo pigmentation. Is there anything I can do to get my pigment back???
As per your query you have problem of hypopigmentation due to laser treatment for wrinkles . Well this is very common problem and occur due to post inflammatory hypopigmentation . In such cases the pigment producing cells (melanocytes) get damaged or destroyed in the healing process of inflammation . There are very limited options for treating hypopigmentation . The best and the natural methode is exposure of hypopigmented area to sun as much as possible . If this doesn't work then consult dermatologits for proper examination . Doctor may recommend you for skin graft . Doctor may also recommend Fraxel Restore laser ,that are the only light-based procedures used for hypopigmentation treatment . Do not use any cosmetic or skin product without advice of dermatologist .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
