Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My father has been prescribed syndopa plus with Tryptomer. Doctor thinks he has got parkinsons but he has no tremor and syndopa plus by itself was not working. The doctor then prescribed Tryptomer. My father says he does not get good sleep in the night but he seems to be better.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Discuss with your doctor once again regarding the reason for prescription of both the drugs. 2. Both the drugs, can severely affect the normal functional mental health. They should not be prescribed without indications. Take another opinion, if not sure. 3. For sleep regular timings is essential. Also warm bath and light food at night will be helpful. Avoid afternoon sleep. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
