It seems you are mostly having hormonal imbalance if your irregularity in the menstruation is without painful menstruation. Please take birth control pills for three months regularly which may regularize your menses.
If your menses are associated with pain in the lower abdomen, there is a possibility of some tumour (Fibroid) in the uterus. This might require surgical intervention for removal. Fibroids are common in women of this age group who are yet to have children.
Some other pathological conditions of the uterine lining (endometrium) also can cause abnormalities in the menstrual pattern.
Before starting any treatment I would advise you to get ultrasonography done to find the condition of the endometrium and the possibility of the fibroid. If the endometrium is very thick, it may require further microscopic study to rule out dangerous conditions. Benign conditions can be treated with birth control pills.
Please report to your Gynaecologist for precise diagnosis and the appropriate management.
I hope this helps you.
