I am 51years old and had a period on October 14th 2011. I did not get another period until November 29th and it lasted 3 weeks, left for two days and returned consistently every three to four days. Am I in menopause. My gyn wants to do the ablation or hysterectomy. I really do not want to get a hysterectomy and the ablation procedure I have heard does not work. What should I do?
