Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain inhaling fumes from a cleaner that might contain irritant chemicals like Ammonia can cause irritation in the throat causing chemical
injury as well as irritation and inflammation can lead to coughing and constriction of bronchioles can cause breathlessness.
Sore throat is due to inflamed throat and chest hurts due to coughing..
Nothing to worry as the symptoms will resolve gradually.
I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles ..
Do steam inhalations.
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like
Ibuprofen,,
Drink plenty of cool water and suck ice as it will relieve throat by reducing inflammation..
You can also gargle with a numbing mouthwash to reduce pain..
Take a
soft diet and also avoid spicy food..
In case if symptoms does not improve in a week consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
Avoid recurring exposure to such harmful chemicals as it can lead to severe breathing problems..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
