my husband has burning and itching balls. it has been almost a year. he has been checked for std's and has had a biopsy done. it all showed nothing. what is the burning and itching then? it is unbearable for him many a times He is six foot two, 180 lbs, and has slight high blood pressure
The commonest causes for burning and itching of scrotal skin are: Dermatitis of various nature, like seborrhoic, allergic and fungal. But since all the tests including biopsy has been done, the possibility remains of psychogenic itching for which proper medication should be started and then alone your husband will be fine. Diabetes must be ruled out. Hence a second opinion of another Dermatologist should be taken, discuss about the points I have given and take proper treatment.
