Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As post pregnancy females tend to have extra kilos which may lead to abnormal pressure on the internal structures of the knee joint leading to inflammation and the pain.

I will advise to use a knee brace, do hot water fermentation, do the diet to shed extra kilos, exercises like static Quadriceps, static hamstring, straight leg raise, pelvic floor muscle strengthening, etc to regain full functions of the knee.

A physiotherapist will be helpful to her.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
