Hi,
The treatment should be correct as this is decided by a team of Doctors when the patient is admitted to the hospital, with multiple complications as you have mentioned about
embolism. The respiratory old infection could have been reactivated causing breathing difficulty and the antibiotic,
Deriphyllin and other medicines are rightly done.
I would advise the following in such a case:
- Request for chest physiotherapy
-
CT scan of chest to know the recent status and adjustment of medications
- Pulmonary function tests help to see for any obstruction that is responding to bronchodilators
- Hairline
fractures of pubic bones usually do not need any specific treatment
Orthopedic Surgeon would advise the best possible management
- Treatment of Embolism must have been going on
- Continue the management as advised by your doctors
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
